How do I become an Agent/Advisor?

  1. Personal Interview: Interviews with a career counselor who can help guide you in the process and decisions concerning a career in Real Estate.
  2. Massachusetts requires a 40 hour pre-license course. Anyone seeking a sales associate's license must complete a pre-license course.  We can provide you with the course locations and schedules. A certificate of successful completion of this course is required to work as a licensed sales associate.
  3. State License Exam: Massachusetts requires the completion and passing of a state Salesperson's exam.
  4. Application for the License: After the successful completion and passing both the Massachusetts and the National exam (taken at the same time) you will receive your license. If you failed the exam you may retake them until you pass.
  5. Meet with the Manager to discuss an action plan and income goals.
  6. Business Plan: After completing the licensing process, we will provide a Training Manager for you
  7. Company Training: This course covers the marketing and consulting fundamentals of Real Estate.
  8. Board of REALTORS®: Board policies require new licensees to make Membership applications within 30 days of becoming licensed. Board dues, which include an application fee, will be required at this time.
  9. We as your Broker, would then enroll you in the "MLS PIN" multiple listing service.
