We're celebrating 500 Properties SOLD Year-to-Date! The Jones Team appreciates your loyalty and trust throughout the years, as your business is important to us.
Jones Group REALTORS® strives to provide the finest in real estate services available by offering a comprehensive marketing approach to the sale of property and quality representation in the purchase of property.
A native of southern Florida, I relocated to Amherst attending Amherst Regional High where I played lacrosse and golf, and fell in love with the beautiful Pioneer Valley. During summers I enjoyed working for the local property management company, Jones Properties which opened my eyes to the possibilities of living and working in the Five College Area. However, Florida called me back where I earned a Bachelors' of Science in Political Science and Business from Florida State University. So, I can empathize with those going through the relocation process - I am back in Amherst and ready for action!
My experience as a six-year lacrosse coach and lifetime athlete has taught me three things; use your instincts, trust your decisions, and execute flawlessly. I will bring that passion to every interaction of my professional real estate career. Whether you're looking for your dream home, investing, or relocating, the primary focus of my business is to advise clients throughout the transaction life cycle utilizing reliable market analysis and confident negotiation strategies. I pride myself on remaining completely genuine, self-aware and intuitive in all of my interactions and appreciate the same qualities in my peers.

"I obtained my real estate license in 1982 before turning to a career in nursing. I have been a registered nurse providing health care coordination for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities within our community for 30 years. I am an advocate for the inclusion of the people I support into the greater community. Their voices are not always the loudest so we have to learn to listen harder and add our voices to theirs. Nursing requires organization, effective time management and attention to detail. I am a caregiver at heart and nursing has been a great career. I have found that I am able to use that same sensibility and skill set in real estate. Whether it is making sure that the tenants who live in my investment properties are provided the very best service, helping a buyer find the right property that they can call home, or working with a seller to develop an effective marketing strategy, I have the heart of a teacher and want to make sure that my clients understand the process from start to finish.
My husband and I have lived, worked and raised our four children in the pioneer valley for over 40 years. They attended local schools and were very involved in sports, music and theater. There are so many positive activities for kids to do (adults too) in this community.
I enjoy power walking, working out and traveling the world with my husband, world class jazz bassist Avery Sharpe, to watch him perform. We currently live in Plainfield as empty nesters."

We are delighted to welcome Eric Penza to our Amherst Team!
I am a native of Amherst and now live in Sunderland with my wife, two sons and our two rescue dogs. I attended Wildwood Elementary and Amherst Regional High School. I lived in Guilford, VT for ten years and returned to Sunderland eleven years ago. Growing up in Amherst, for me, was so much fun. There were many kids in my neighborhood and summer nights would last forever. Whether we were playing kick ball or Frisbee or whatever game we could invent, we didn't go inside unless it was dinner time or it was dark out. I was a newspaper delivery boy and would rush through as quickly as possible so I could ride my bike to Puffers Pond or Lake Warner in Hadley to go fishing.
Many Saturday mornings we would visit my grandparents in Sunderland. In the early spring, we would run to the sap buckets on the maple trees that lined the street and eat the icicles that had formed from the sap freezing overnight. Sundays in the summer were usually spent at my Aunt and Uncles cottage on a lake in Goshen. We would spend the day fishing, catching frogs, playing games and would finish the day with a barbeque.
As I grew older, I began to help my parents with yard work and maintenance on our apartments in Sunderland. Learning how to paint, repair plumbing, and do minor carpentry work. This gave me my first real experience with real estate. My father had several properties in Sunderland, my godfather was a real estate agent and my Aunt and Uncle had their own brokerage for many years. This inspired me to purchase my own rental properties four years ago. I currently own two buildings in North Adams.
Now I have come full circle and have chosen to work as a real estate sales agent. The wonderful people at Jones Group Realtors have given me the opportunity to show you the amazing properties the Amherst area and Pioneer Valley have to offer. Whether you like to hike, ride bicycles, fish or would rather curl up with a book from one of the many local libraries, go shopping or go to sporting events there are so many things to do here. I look forward to helping you find a home you can call your own.

We are delighted to welcome Becky Martin to our Belchertown Team! A Belchertown native, Becky Martin grew up on a dairy farm in town, attending school, and working in the area. Now retired from the University of Massachusetts, Becky is re-entering the real estate field, originally licensed in 2001.
Married to one of the area's fine home builders, in business for over 25 years, Becky has been an integral part of the home building process. From drywall to vinyl siding to bookkeeping, Becky has had hands-on experience.
Whether buying or selling, she will guide you through the sometimes bewildering real estate process. She will work tirelessly to answer questions, keep you informed, and make your real estate experience a pleasant one.
There was a video about flight attendants making the rounds a while ago. Perceived as waitresses in the sky, one attendant appeared in the video and listed off the other skills that were required of her. She had to be capable of instructing, remaining calm and leading emergency response, diplomacy, medical assessment and response, equipment operation, carrying out counter terrorism procedures and yet smile and provide for passenger demands. It was quite an eye opener. Real Estate agents are very similar. Jones Group agents must be knowledgeable of zoning issues in all area towns, environmental hazards, the legal process, agency law, flood plain delineations, financing requirements, be master negotiators, and all while smiling and educating buyers about the market and helping sellers to properly price their homes. Jones Group agents attend training courses on a regular basis. Recently we had a national speaker teach us about the nuances of LinkedIn to improve business communication. We invite attorneys to our meetings to discuss changes in the laws and how it may affect our clients. Bankers have instructed us about Regulation Z. Education never stops and we are committed to our agents to being the very best and current with all changes happening around us so you can make informed decisions about your biggest investment – your Home.
